Lynn Shorthouse is a fully qualified, registered and insured craniosacral therapist, working in Glastonbury, Somerset and offering remote healing via phone and video session.

She completed her professional training in 1994 and  is registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association.

Previously a lecturer at Bristol University, Lynn Shorthouse teaches and supervises Craniosacral therapy at an advanced level, having tutored at the Karuna Institute and the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) in London.

Her original training was in social work and counselling and she has been working with people and their problems for over 25 years.

Her development has been influenced by her two special needs sons, her experience with babies, families and birth processes, and her own search for inner peace and spirituality.

Lynn is fully DBS checked to work with children, a trained First Aider and carries full professional indemnity insurance.

Turning Towards a Living Future

A One Day Workshop with Lynn Shorthouse
To restore your connection to the sacred earth, yourselves and heart, in everyday life.  Develop your self-care and self-reliance skills and learn new ones.
In Glastonbury on 19th October 2019

The day will be a safe, sacred and deep exploration into the heart of what it means to live in harmony with Earth and our true natures.
We will Explore how to find our place now on this beautiful planet and in our bodies.
We will Share in the growth of a new way of being which acknowledges, allows deeper connection within and without.
We will Create ceremony, and set intention of turning towards a living future.

Lynn trained at the Karuna Institute in 1994.  The workshop also includes influences from Lynn's training in Therapeutic Supervision, with Robin Shohet, and from Peter Levin's book In an Unspoken Voice.
This workshop aims to increase your awareness of stillness in yourself and your clients, and to amplify and cultivate your capacity to pay attention to everything in the relationship. The work is based on craniosacral principles and will enhance the knowledge of both craniosacral therapists and practitioners of other hands-on therapies who may not yet have experience of this Field. Techniques can be used straight away in your practice. We will practice listening from the Bramavihara's: natural states of Grace, which can only be known through relationship with another. Experience in many such groups has shown that it is possible to offer deep work quickly in the time we have together.
